Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Clone Attempt

Mine came out black. The aroma is crazy. It's bubbling away at 63F right now, I'm about to let it free rise to 69-71 and start the dry hop schedule.

    US-05 temperature dropped too low

Good to hear. The temperature I'm speaking of is ambient, and I caught it after about a day. I any event, one of the buckets was racked prior to raising temperature to 68ish, the other was not. I'll report back regarding the difference in flavor profiles found. I'm not sure about blow-off...

    US-05 temperature dropped too low

I brewed a batch of dead guy and pitched US-05 for 7 days at 65F. Imperial Experimental IPA recipe development

Not a bad idea. Are the bittering units OK? As I move the 30 minute additions to later, the IBUs will drop so I'll need to compensate with more 60 minute hops.

    Label Removal Thread

Yesterday I began cleaning bottle for the brown ale that I intend to boil next week. All I did was fill all of the bottles with hot water, then place them in a cooler, and filled the cooler with hot water and Oxy clean. After about 20 minutes of soaking, all of the labels were floating on...
