I've been kegging for a while and most of the time I just hook it up and forget about it for a while.
But recently I need to move a bunch of cider through faster in the carb process.
I just wanted to confirm with people who know more than I regarding carbonating...

I'm just looking for some results for anyone that has used blackberry puree in cider?
I'm thinking about doing a batch, now that it's apple pressing season.
I made blackberry wine this year so I'm burned out of picking blackberries, so I'm really interested if the puree's would/will work well...
A buddy just dropped by and game me a set of homemade glasses he made from 22oz bottles, and a bottle opener from a shell casing.
I thought it was pretty cool. Not sure how he rounded the rim on the glasses, but that was considerate of him! lol

My wife has started making soap and mentioned/inquired the possibility of making our own essential oils for the soaps. My attitude was kind of "Meh" at extracting essential oils, then I thought of the hop possibilities.
I haven't extracted anything since college, but just wondering if anyone...

I haven't looked at it in person, but if this could be a brite tank that's quite a bit of volume for 900 bucks.
I can't tell if it has a valve on the bottom. Or how much cleaning it would need to be food ready.
Thoughts?

So I was thinking about entering a cider I've made into a local harvest fair competition this year. But according to the rules, ciders are in the amateur wine category and as such need to be submitted in standard 750ml wine bottles.
Does everyone else submit their cider this way? Or do other...
Anyone going to be playing it?
I've played the beta's, looking forward to the headstart.
And, slightly off-topic, you gamers out there; what's your favorite beverage during game play? I usually like a strong dark beer to sip on.
I saw this today at Walmart today. You too can have a 12 MEAT thermometer for 5 bucks.
It has the retaining clip on it and everything. Think I paid more than double that for one I bought at my LHBS.
Has anyone used this before? If so are they accurate? Pretty sure it was made from SS...
