I have just pitched the yeast and nutrients however i didnt read the article i was following for nutrient doseage all the way through and pitched the whole measurement of nutrient at once. What should i do about this issue?
My first question is if i had removed the bung to check the fermentation status of my wort do i need to repitch or let it be or gentle swirl said container.
Second: The directions say to transfer the wort to a diffrent carboy after 7 to 10 days. If i wait til 13 days would that be a problem?
After removing the stopper. Looking at the top of the liquid it is bubbling. Also i got a good smell of beer. These i would assume are good things to see and smell.
I have had the wort sitting for over 48 hours and have not seen any bubbles coming up through the air lock. I have now shrink wrapped the bucket to try to get a good seal. Also if it has been that long is there a point in checking the SPG or no ? I could not test the spg after brewing because...
To add to this i had gotten swindled into buy a 10k Reverse Osmosis water system when i bought my house so the water i am using is extremely clean as comes out of the tap here.
