    air powered stir plate

A lot of people already have aquarium pumps to aerate wort. But, yea that homemade electric one is probably a better bet.

    air powered stir plate

Anyone use one of these? Seems like a cheap alternative to a motor driven one, but not as cheap as a homemade one. Looks like it could be driven by a simple aquarium air pump right? http://www.pfstar.com/Air-operated-turbine-magnetic-stirrer-_p_22543.html

    Dogfish Head Reduces Distribution

I think they have succeeded on gimmicks and hype more than beer quality. I think there is a reason no one besides them makes beer similar to theirs. I'm trying not to be a hater, but I truly believe if you were to take their beer and put someone else's label on it, it would not be as popular...

St. Patty's Swamp Water (green beer thread)

Freetail Brewing in San Antonio makes a Spirulina Wit that is naturally green. I haven't had it, but they brew it up this time of year.

    Dogfish Head Reduces Distribution

Love me some Indian Brown, but they have priced themselves out of my range. I haven't been wowed by anything other than the brown.

Hey dude. Nice work. I would suggest trying to register with the beer mapping project. http://beermapping.com/ I was in Mariposa in November, but had no idea you were even there, since all I do when traveling to a new area is look at the beer map. We checked out Mariposa Brewing, but...

    Mango IPA

sure. You might have to water it down so the puree doesn't stick to the sides. Thin it out with a little beer if you don't want to add too much water.

Simple eHERMS, following PJ's diagram w/ only 1 PID.

It is still switching a 240V circuit. Meaning when the switch is closed (either position) the legs are opposite at all times (+120, -120), which would net a 240V difference. Now if you were to tell me even though rated at 15amps, that the switch could handle more, I'd believe that.

Simple eHERMS, following PJ's diagram w/ only 1 PID.

Question for PJand Squeeky about the second diagram. The switch #1 (selector switch) is rated at 15 amps for 240V. But those heating elements should draw over 18amps. So..... is that safe and proper?

SSR heatsinks needed for metal enclosure?

You sure you need 4 SSR's? Most of the wiring diagrams I see you only need one SSR per heating element, and only put it on one of the hot legs.
