Best Mini Fridge to Convert to Single Keg (1/2 BBL)

Looking to help build a kegerator for a friend. He doesn't do homebrew, so wants his keg to be able to fit a full 1/2 BBL keg. Anyone know any mini-fridges that may be able to be converted? Thanks!

High Rise Faucet Adapter for Ball Lock?

Updates on this: I found a stainless steel Ball Lock QD... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ball-Lock-1-4-MFL-Hansen-Stainless-Home-Brew-Keg-Tap-Coupler-Gas-In-/110770117058?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19ca69d9c2 ... It looks like it might work. It has threads under the MFL adapter. I am wondering...

High Rise Faucet Adapter for Ball Lock?

Anyone know it if it possible to use one of the High Rise Faucet mounts on a ball lock keg? Or better where to get adapters to do it? I have a pin lock keg that was converted to ball lock. I'd like to mount a faucet on it, but using a high rise so the faucet is elevated above the keg. Anyone...

    Carbonator Installed.

I kept the disconnects, but I removed the popets from both sides. Also marked the keg with tape on the disconnects so I don't forget to discharge the pressure before I pop them off. I did it once without discharging the pressure and got a face full of seltzer.

Would work... but the problem is that the carbonator has a tank which will still warm up to room temperature.

    Water filters

Basically on my kitchen sink I just stuck a 10" standard water filter housing in line with the cold water line. All of my water is now filtered. For my carbonator setup in the basement I have another one. It's not RO quality water, but it is as good as a britta/pure. And the filters are $10...

Not that I have ever seen. What is wrong with putting a 10" filter in line with your water line?

    Seltzer CO2 level

I run my carbonator at 85 PSI... but its a little different and I am not entirely certain how many volumes of CO2 it winds up at.

    PSI (when to replace)

For reference.... The reason is that the tank is full of a liquid with a gas on top. As you allow gas to escape off of the top the liquid converts back into gas. The ratio of gas to liquid is dictated by the vapor pressure of the liquid and the temperature of the room (I think, chemistry is a...

    Seltzer CO2 level

I don't think there is any. There is, however, a difference between tonic water and seltzer/club soda.

I thought about that. But we are regularly out of ice... we don't have an automated ice maker.

    Carbonator Installed.

I use a 1/8" MFL. I got it through one of the distributors... I have a commercial account. I haven't really seen anyone else carry them. I thought about that. At this point my whole tank is full of seltzer... I use seltzer to push also... so the tank never empties.

I wanted to do that... flash chillers are too expensive... where did you get yours.

You can't put the cold plate in a freezer... the lines would freeze. I have had that problem with the lines in the fridge if they wind up sitting in front of the vent from the freezer.

    Carbonator Installed.

Yeah... but it was just easier to replace it with a bolt. The carbonator has a safety valve on it also.
