Did you activate the yeast first, what type of yeast?

If you haven't already done so, I'd put it on a heat pad and bring the hoppy wheat up to temp. [emoji3] Bring it up to 22 - 28°c for wheat beer (higher temperature for fruity wheat hop flavor) but check that that's not going to smash your yeast!

Hazy beer in keg, how long to leave in keg?

Hello fellow Brewers! I have recently transferred my beer into a keg from first fermentation. The beer looked good going in and tastes mint but I have put it in my fridge to cool down and to fizz up with a bit of sugar added melted in water first. The issue is that my beer now looks cloudy and...

Yeah bro, looks fine. How long has it been down for? Are you thinking of adding aroma hops? Cheers!

    First, Second then pressure barrel.

Hey, thanks for your help! I think both make sense to me, I can understand the clarification you would get from second . I think however, I'm going to see if it works with doing it from the first stage. I may try and do a second fermentation when I do a darker beer. Thanks again for your...

    First, Second then pressure barrel.

Super, awesome advice! I have the beer in a bucket on a heat pad and it's sitting steady at 20*c. Reason being is that it's winter here in New Zealand and the only place I can put my beer is in the garage and it gets cold at night, wanted to make the temperature consistent as well as reasonably...

    How did you find us?

I found you whilst looking for information on hops and when to add. It was a hyperlink which I followed from someone else.. Amazing!!

Fantastic, thanks for responding so quickly! Amazing!! Krausen is going strong, bubbling every second. A lively one.. hahaha.. So, I made a hybrid (kind of) this time; A can of Pilsner malt extract, a Kg of milled Toffee Malt for the mash and added Cascade hops. I have some citra hops to add...

This site is incredible! Really bloody awesome.. So, I have a brew down at the minute. It has only been down for 4 days. I am wondering if anyone can see any issues with me transferring (when it has finished it's primary) to a secondary for a week or so (maybe longer) to let it settle. Then...
