    Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

    I was having the same problem with the raspbian stretch release. If you run/install raspbian jessie release, then everything should work fine. The latest raspbian jessie release can be found here: http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbian_lite/images/raspbian_lite-2017-07-05/
