Thanks. Any idea if that's a proprietary gasket then? I certainly don't want to sound ungrateful, but $1.50 EACH is a bit much. You can usually get standard O-rings at a tenth of that cost. At least I have an option!

Has anyone already fought the battle of trying to source replacement gaskets for older Vent-Matic faucets? I think I can come up with a typical/standard o-ring replacement for the two around the lever ball, but the one on the end of the slide that actually does the forward sealing. Sort of...

jdahl10, the idea is to use the braided hose outer casing to filter through instead of the false bottom. The crisscrossing of the braid itself makes it an effective filter screen.
