Do you consider electric/automated brewing equipment to be cheating?

Automatization of grunt work is not cheating in my book. I couldn't care less when I was younger and I brewed 5 gallon batches. But with so much less time and add back pain, I am all for electric equipment, also now I care more about flavor profile than "this is the fun way to do it".

    Negra Modelo

I agree it's interesting, seems key notes from Modelo it has galena, super galena (must be extract), caramel malt, dark malt, two row and six row. I think it's a Mexican Dunkel as Shiner Bock is an American Bock. Vienna lagers in Mexico varies between breweries as XX Ámbar or Indio, Tecate not...

    Negra Modelo

There is a misconception from some homebrewers and BJCP cloning it as a Vienna lager, since its inception Modelo has always been sold as Munich Dunkel. Their Mexican Vienna is the Modelo Ambar. I would say Negra Modelo is more akin to a Mexican Dunkel than a German Munich Dunkel. Also Bohemia...

    Top 5 Dry Yeasts?

I have been on some hiatus because of work, but now that I'm back I'm surprised by the new love of Diamond Lager instead of W34/70 (marketed a lot by Bruloshophers). 1.
