BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

I would say provide a recommended path forward along with a guide for making the change away from MEGA, then set a date \ version change that would not longer support MEGA. Obviously if they do not update to that version then the MEGA continues to work. I am currently on MEGA, as long as there...

    "emergency" Keezer build with collar

If you have access to a drill press, easier to drill your tap holes while the collar is not assembled and that will ensure a nice straight hole as well!!!

    "emergency" Keezer build with collar

I have the same height as you as mine is dual hinged. The freezer hinges are at the bottom of the collar, meaning I lift the entire collar out of the way. I was only referring to using the door hinges on the freezer top attached to the top of the collar.

    "emergency" Keezer build with collar

You can use regular door hinges for the top lid since it is not too much weight. I just added some wood inbetween to attach to the lid and then the door hinges. You can see here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/threads/removable-floating-collar-on-keezer.688671/post-9041842

10 gallon rubbermaid home depot cooler conversion

Pretty sure you need to buy parts. Weldless bulkhead, ball valve, 1/2" barb, and don't forget a pickup tube or elbow for the inside to get more liquid out. BrewHardware and BargainFittings are pretty common sites to get them. True Weldless Bulkhead - With 90 ELBARB (mini diptube) or True...

    Brew with coffee

I have used the recommendation from Gorm of cracked coffee beans and it worked really well. Some people cold brew the coffee as well and add that. I found the cracked coffee beans worked great though. Just keep sampling every couple of days.

    Chocolate for breakfast stout

I have done similar to the recipe above, except that I added the cocao powder to the mash instead of the end of the boil. However I did not use chocolate extract.

    Immersion Chiller Hook

I would make something out of stainless parts and make a stand for it. Jaded does something similar in copper, but you could piece it together out of NPT Stainless elbow and straight threaded pieces. Not need for teflon tape either :) https://jadedbrewing.com/products/the-electrichair

using salt and lime in a lager

Follow the recommendation of Rish for the lime. This allows you to adjust the flavor at packaging to get it how you want. I would do similar with the salt, boil a small amount of water and add salt to that, then pull from that and add a little at a time at packaging, again to get it where you...

    Duotight gas leak indicator?

Another possibility is a slow leak on the duotight inline regulator. The gauge on the regulator is removable. I had a leak at that point on the blowtie that was very slow, but became obvious when left on a keg for 24 hours. You can take the gauge off and apply some keg lube on the connection...

    PSI Question

When I got mine it was just the 8mm OD, was not aware they put out another size.

    PSI Question

That is EVABarrier tubing, the outer dimension is the same for gas and liquid. The internal can be different though with most doing 4mm ID for liquid and 5mm ID for gas.

    PSI Question

My understanding is that the beer temp is what matters and not the tank temp of the CO2. My tank is external and I always set PSI to what is appropriate for the style of beer and I have not had any issues.
