    i brewed an ipa using wyeast 1318 london III . the beer is about a week old. i took a sample and the fg is 1.013. the taste is not very good but i cant tell if its infected. here is a photo i took from above the fermentation vessle:

    i brewed an IPA about a week ago and i think i have a stuck fermentation (1.045). i used dennys favorite from WYEAST . right now i have a london ale III starter going . do you think i can pitch the london starter to the stuck fermentation?

    i just bought a new chest freezer . have a fermenting IPA in the freezer but when i bended to take a sample today i got a strange sensation in my nose(hard to breath). could that be as a result of co2 that is coming from the fermenter that is sinking to the bottom of the freezer?

    SG 1.057 FG 1.010 bottled after 10 days in the primary. fermentation was done after 5 days. the last time i had a gush brew the beer tasted bad but this beer actually tastes very good.

    i bottled a hefeweizen yesterday and open a bottle today (just to sample it) and it gushed (of cource no carbonation yet) . open another one and it too gushed/ the beer tastes good. is this normal with hefes? when i cool the bottle there is no gushing
