    Is this compound in coffee? SWMBO always says that when I brew coffee that the house smells like skunk. I never notice it but of course I'm a trapper so I eat Violator-7 on crackers. Lol (predator lure with skunk essence) :rockin:

    I dry my sanitized stopper with an unsanitized paper towel so it doesn't squirt back out of the carboy. Sorry, thats about the worst thing I do. Im really OCD. You could use my brewing equipment to perform surgery. Lol

    Dog/Cat Hair in Primary

    I agree. Everything I own has dog hair in it. We vacuum EVERY day without fail and keep a very clean house but none the less the dog hair is unavoidable. If anybody has an import german shepherd you know what Im talking about.

    Oxygenation

    Thank you for the excellent and diverse info. Does anybody know how the larger brewery's approach aeration? Dogfish, Lefthand, Sweet Water, Rouge, etc do they use manual aeration? Pure O2? Air?

    Tap water. Add campden and let must rest for 24hrs. Then pitch yeast. At least that's my procedure.

    Learned this the hard way today. I took my brand new tank to my local gas supply people and they said they do not fill they only swap cylinders. So my nice new freshly painted tank that I never got to use got pitched in with the other empties and I got a banged up full tank in return. But...
