    So who's brewing this weekend?

    Brewed 5 gallons this past Saturday. It was an Irish stout OG 1.051 to ferment in the primary for a week and then 3 months In a balcones single mast whiskey barrel. This recipe won first place in a competition at cedar creek brewery in seven points, Texas several months ago.

    the milk sugar and honey are added in the secondary stages and i am almost positive northern hops is used for the 60 minute boil. i too, am trying to clone this beer. i've been trying to get my ducks-in-a-row, if you will, prior to tackling the challenge.
