In my 30 years of brewing foam or sponge cleaning balls did the trick. German breweries used foam balls in the 90s when I started. More Beer and many other suppliers sell foam cleaning balls.

I never had a drinkable IPA, they all suck. Cheers!!

I added an automated grain mill roller unlock feature to my grain processing system. Most of the time the system runs unattended while processing the grain bill. Any lockup requires me to go to the mill and fix it after the system warns me, now the system takes care of it.

I am drinking a homebrew German smoked red beer.

I am trying to enjoy a few homebrew Kölsch while the gas company is trying a temporary repair multiple underground gas leaks at our house.

This week I celebrate 30 years since I brewed my first Pils with a homebrew Pils tonight.

"It’s a bit pale for an Alt." You will find a very pale Altbier in Düsseldorf. I brew the dark copper looking version .

I managed to install our May Pole for tomorrows Maibock celebration. Beer is the theme every year. Ours doesn't compare to the once you see in Germany.

It is time to clean our Maibaum (May Pole or translated, May Tree) for the May Day and Maibock celebration. Different towns may have different themes. Here are a few pics of May Poles. Ours will be up on May 1st as tradition calls for.

Today I cleand all the beer lines, updated the RFID tag, replaced the carbon filters, and put the 2024 Maibock on tap for our Mayday celibration.

For a starter tonight it's a homebrew Kristallweizen.

What a terrible way to start the night drinking. This is a fruit juice to attract bugs, missing the Tequila. Too bad it's too far to walk to the home brewery late in the night to get a beer.
