    Yea, thats part of the problem...I know what whole grain kit I used, and that I added a pound of brown sugar...but I don't know how well I did on the mashing process...it is literally my first batch and accidentally got the all grain batch...I don't know know just thought someone might be able...

    I recently taste tested the very first beer that I have ever made. I made a rookie mistake and forgot to get an OG, if I send someone a couple bottles can they tell me the alcohol content?...it has a strong alcohol flavor, reminds me of dragons milk but not as dark.

    Just wondering what is the average shelf life of bottled home brew?

    So I added a gallon of tap water prior to fermentation...

    So I brewed my first batch last week and when I put it into my primary I only had 4 gallons, without thinking I threw in a gallon of tap water. So my question is will this ruin my beer since I did not boil the water?

    Can I referment on top of the yeast once I rack out?

    I was going to brew a new batch tomorrow, and rack my current batch into my secondary. I was thinking about putting my new batch into the primary with the current yeast that is in it. Does anyone see any problems with doing this, this particular yeast has been awesome?
