    Using a freezer to both ferment and store keg..

    Ok so I'm doing a red lager shortly wyeast 2007 Pilsen lager yeast strain. Now I want to both chill my kegged beer and ferment at the same time but don't know what I should set the temperature and then idk what psi to it to.     Temperature contol probe

    Ok I finally got a chest freezer and temperature control. Now do I drop the probe directly into the freezer or put in into a glass of water like I have seen some of the guys on BrewTV do to maintain the temp of the liquid and not the air. Thanks pretty excited to get started ok lagers!!!

    Forced carbonating

    I keep my beer at room temperature till I decide to bottle. The pressure I keep it at is 30psi. Now for the question. Do i keep it at this pressure or do I lower it once I achieve the carbonation I want? Thanks for the help everyone

    Weird taste after forced carbonation

    Everything got a good wash down with the starsan cleaner so I doubt that contamination is the issue. They brew tasted awesome till this morning when I tried it yesterday and it has a weird kinda metallic bite to it. At first thought I was thinking I over carbonated it but it doesn't floam up...

    Used soda keg

    So I just got my soda keg today and it leaks for the first 30 seconds when filling it with co2. Is this normal for all soda kegs? Or should I seek out a new top. Seal are all new btw

    Bottling from a keg

    Ok so I understand Henry's law for gas exchange but I was wondering if bottling from a keg causes your bottled beer to be less carbonated or if your bottle before the beer is carbonated and use priming sugar. I'm only asking bc ill soon have a keg

    Pop tops or flip tops?

    I have been brewing for about 10 days so far and I have about 12 gallons of beer in the carboys so far with 4 different beers, English brown ale, blone ale, Irish red, and a plislner. So far I looooove to brew and my wife hates it bc i spend a few hours drinking beer while making beer lol...
