    Alright before you dismiss this as a "dumb newbie, learn2brew" thread, hear me out... I brewed a maerzen yesterday and pitched it with Wyeast Octoberfest lager yeast and threw it in my mini fridge at a steady 48-58 degrees. Its been a day and noticed the airlock not bubbling. Not an issue...

    Odd trub/krausen floating around fermenter...

    Took a peek inside the fermenter. Krausen has gone way down, but I do see white chunks still floating around. Just going to give it a few more days.

    Thanks man. I plan on taking another reading in a few days. Airlock stopped bubbling before I took a gravity reading, which was around 1.012. Appreciate the input!
