What did my LHBS give me??

One-hundred times better than Bud, but don't waste your time or money. Just FYI.

    Witbier Recipe.. Opinions? Thoughts?

It's early, but the beer is carbonated and tastes amazing. Still needs some time to settle out. It is exactly what I thought, tastes just like a witbier but the color is darker. it has a bit of a, but not overwhelming in any sense, malty backbone. Highly recommended for anyone! Thanks for...

What did my LHBS give me??

Okay, so my LHBS gave me the following kit which he designed himself. This is the trial run for one beer for my upcoming wedding. I asked for a nice session beer that wasn't overly hoppy, but could satisfy me and the few hop heads in attendance while still appealing to other guests. He's...

    Witbier Recipe.. Opinions? Thoughts?

Kcbeersnob, I steeped the red wheat and a simple sparge. I was told by my LHBS it was fine for steeping, but I guess not. Either way, thanks for the input from both of you. First post of many.

My first batch was my Black IPA. The OG was around 1.080. I kept it in my primary for ten days and then I transferred it to my secondary for eleven. I bottled then tasted at two weeks. I'm guessing it's been a month since I've bottled and it only gets better. Patience is a virtue, but it's so...

    First post of many.

Just wanted to say hello to the forum. It's my very first post. I brewed my first batch three months ago and I'm already on my third. You all have mediated a lot of worry on that first one whether you know it or not. Just a discussion piece. Anyone remember the very first sip from their first...
