I've been in this place a couple of times, the couple that owns this store is awesome, and super helpful. I went in there one day not really knowing what I wanted to brew, just had an idea to do an amber, and she set me right up with a recipe she liked. Probably the best beer I've brewed so...

I have issues with this as well, is the eye piece thing more accurate? Or rather, easier to read?

I only brew small 5 gallon batches, but I am obsessed with temperature control (A byproduct of my profession in the HVAC field). I have lots of temp probes, and so far I have loved this one by UEI (even though I wasn't a fan of their Phoenix clamp multimeter, which I replaced shortly)...
