    I have been experimenting around, and for my next brew i have german kolsch yeast, a pliny the bastid grain bill(obtained from hombrewtalk recipe database), i would like to brew an ipa, i have cascade, simcoe, and centennial hops.. Anybody have any suggestions?

    I also plan on doing a coffee ipa next. Should i dry hop on beans? Use extract? Any ideas would be great.

    I am fresh out of corn sugar, and have a bottling day planned in the next few days. I do have lots of table sugar. I also have a bag of DME. I may even have a few other things. Or should i just wait and order a bag of corn sugar?

    can you rack 5 gallons bucket primary to 3 gallon glass carboy?

    That depends, but dont be afraid to rack 2.5 gallons into secondary and maybe dry hop, and let the other 2.5 sit untill is ready to bottle. Then on bottling day you will have 2 different beers out of the same batch. Its fun to experiment....

    1.010 is the reading i just took. I forgot to take the og reading I dropped my thermometer right after i chilled my wort Lcd on side of bucket puts it at 68

    Probably should have bben more clear on what i had done. Sorry. Ill try to explain better....after i racked my beer into secondary, i left a little bit of beer covering the yeast cake. I poured a new batch of beer right on top of that yeast cake. I put a blow off valve on it, as i was expecting...
