I'm looking into getting one for sealing my bulk hops order, but want to find one that will allow sealing of smaller cut bags instead of the default length of 8" or 11" for the seal. Do most vacuum sealers do this? Ideally I want to cut and seal 5" x 5" bags of 1oz or 2oz of hops. Anyone...

Will be giving this a try as soon as my eva-dry arrives. Plus it will help move air around, keeping the temp in my keezer more evenly distributed since I don't have a fan in there yet.

My Conan pooped out at 1.016, while the WLP001 got down to 1.012. I think the starter for the Conan may have been a bit small, and at one point I accidentally let fermentation get down to 58F. The Conan one still tastes great, albeit a little sweeter and less hop bitter tasting. How are the...

Dave1096, I would have to agree with you. Since first trying it about five or so years ago, it still is my favorite beer today. But Pliny certainly is worth finding as well. I did end up sending him a Pliny in the trade too, so he will be able to be his own judge. Cheers.

Stopped by my local place and was able to find Parabola and a Pliny. Thar Pliny be fresh too. If you have Heady, lets talk. I also bought some Parabola for myself and just drank it. It was sofa king good. Maybe one of my favorite beers. Well worth it.

The probably had it and I wasn't looking. Their facebook page keeps an updated listing of what they have on tap for growlers and for bottles for the week and weekend.

I'd expect whatever is added to the trade is even on both sides.
