    Raisin flavor

Ok so I went ahead and added raisins to the fermenter because I was planning on aging the beer anyways. 2 days after the addition, I had what appeared to be a white mold on top of the beer. Now I'm kinda scared to do anything. Should I toss the batch and start over or rack it off and then filter...

    Raisin flavor

I'll be brewing my breakfast in a bottle tomorrow (Oatmeal Raisin Bacon Coffee Stout). I know it sounds a bit strange, but I have strange taste buds. I have already figured out the degreased, caramelized bacon and cold brew coffee additions in the secondary but I am worried about the raisins...

    I'm an idiot

Thank you very much for clarifying that for me. I was thinking that craft brewers were the ones that created the recipes that us home brewers copy

WARNING: Plastic buckets are not safe

For a source just feel free to take any biology/environmental science class in college to find out about EDs.

WARNING: Plastic buckets are not safe

Every type of plastics we use have EDs, from plastic cups to cell phones. They can all effect our offspring or future generations. So I wouldn't worry too much about fermenting in plastic buckets because everything we use that is plastic contains Endocrine Disruptors.

Irish Red Ale Quaffable Irish Red (Extract)

I am using the Irish Red extract from Northern Brewers but I am trying to give it something extra. I was considering adding coriander and orange peel in the secondary fermentation after soaking the spices in vodka for 2 weeks. Afraid of how it will turn out. Any input on what extra flavors will...
