    Stir Plate Magnets

    Seems like everytime I need to make a yeast starter, one of the magnets comes out of it's little "pocket". So I keep using hot glue to re-glue the little sucker. PITA, to a point. So what do you use to keep the magnets from getting loose?

    FG Issues

    Seems like my FG's are usually around 10 points higher than the recipe FG. Just checked my Russian River Row 2 Hill 56 Clone after 12 days @ 64F. It's at 1.020 when it should be @ 1.010. My OG was @ 1.060, when recipe called for 1.055. Should my fermentation temp be warmer? I bumped it up to...

    Propane Burners

    I have one but it's all steel and cast iron. The burner is slowly rusting away. The flame is half yellow/half blow, well sort of. My burner is outside all the time and that's why the weather is slowly deteriorating it. So I'm looking to upgrade. Any suggestions that won't break my piggy bank...
