    Greenbudobeer, Per your advice I contacted the the vendor (MoreFlavor) and they actually sent me the invoice for a replacement colombus rhizome less than an hour after I sent in the "Problem with Order Form". Now that is amazing customer service!

    Hi Everyone, I ordered some cascade and columbus rhizomes and one of the columbus rhizomes looks like it has eyelets on each end, but it was dried out in the middle and it snapped in half. If I plant both pieces, is there any chance that it will grow?

    DeafSmith, Thats a really good point. If I understand this correctly, I shouldn't have listed HC03 as 75 because the alkilinity is reported in CaCO3. If the ratio is 61/50 then does that mean HC03 is actually 91.5?

    Any water chemistry veterans care to give an analysis on the East Dallas water profile? My limited knowledge suggests that our water would work for darker beers, but pale beers and bitter beers would suffer from this mineral makeup.
