Yes, you send in 3 bottles for each entry. This is in case you make it to the next round and then to the final round.

Unless your Japanese is pretty good you might want to pass. I do know that several of us are looking at getting the tasting kit and going through the off flavors. Brendan or I will keep you posted.

Welcome. Hope you enjoy your brewing journey. Yes temp control is paramount...but there are ways to do it without a big set up. Check out the forum for ideas. I used to keep my beer in the bathtub with ice during the summer. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

It is AWESOME! I want another one already. I love this thing. It is pricey but so worth it. I haven't used my carboy since.

Well a couple of bad points for me. 1) temp control. How do you do it if its hanging on the wall? 2) while they are going to have a stand for it so you don't have to hang it on a wall they don't have one NOW and won't have it for several months. 3) how big is it? Will it fit in my fermentation...

My friend that showed it to me would also spray it in the air to knock out any airborne stuff. For example after the wort is chilled and he is transferring. He brews awesome beers so not going to argue with him if it works. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

I use it in place of alcohol. I don't soak anything in it. But I do spray it on my hands or brew parts. For example on a ball lock valve or quick disconnects for kegs. I use Starsan in bottles and kegs. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

I would NOT wrap it with duct tape. That will look very suspicious. They seal it just fine. You wrap it I will bet money they open it then.

Should be no problem bring it in. I have brought it several times. I don't declare anything so they have no reason to open my bag. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
