    Use reclaimed sanke

    Could you use reclaimed sanke in your brewery? I mean if you buy used sankes that are headed to the scrap yard could you refurbish them and now use them as your own in your brewery and to distribute....I've asked this in other places and haven't got a definite answer.

    why is it so hard to duplicate all grain

    Every time i make extract or partial it comes out identical ..so much so that you can't tell the difference ...but when i brew all grain my numbers are correct and i follow my notes to the T and when tasting a previous batch its not replicated ...could it be that all grain continues to condition...

    Cooling wort

    I was thinking if adding a cooling with running water through it does such a nice job wouldn't pumping your wort through the coil submerged in an ice bath cool it quicker and safer? Just a thought and thinking of a better mousetrap

    proper way to back sweetened wine?

    Do you add wine to diluted sugar or diluted sugar to wine. I mean is it like in beer where you pour your diluted water into a container (carboy/bucket /etc) and rack the brew on top or do you just pour the sweetner on top of the wine and just gently stir?

    Question

    A stir plate is wonderful while making a stater plate but why hasnt anyone tried brewing on carboys using a stir bar and a stir plate below ? I know commercial breweries have a sort of blending bar in their brewing equipment so why not do the same at the homebrew level ?
