When i set mine I also make sure the gauge can go back in without too much effort. I only asked about the reverse because i actually did that last weekend, another strike for buzzed brewing :)

Any chance your drill is on reverse (if you are using one)?

Definitely, if you could only have one, that's the one. Their others are fine, but that's the one that seems the most distinctive to my palette. Btw, basing this on 1/6th barrels, haven't been there in person, but friends who have say the food is good too :-). Cheers

Thanks Glenn - I'm in mokena, just south of orland park. I think I get the insanity part - was standing in the pouring rain boiling today and grinning from ear to ear :-) Still smelling the hops - think ill keep some hops in my car from now on as air freshener.... Gary

First batch ever today, 20 minutes into boil started raining... Pain in the ass to keep the flame at the right temp, but other than that no worries. Think I'll name this batch "acid rain" :-)
