    Well it's been awhile and I see no one has responded to this so far. This weekend I will be trying a recipe that we have come up with. Hope it works.

    Chilling wort

    Add wort chiller with 15 minutes left . Then when using the wort chiller to lower your temp, stir the wort and it will speed up cooling time. Works every time for me.

    Priming my beer

    i have always bottled after adding priming sugar and never had a bottle blow yet. This is the first i have heard of waiting to bottle.

    What about adding to the primary after fermentation has slowed? I have read about people adding hops and spices to get a specific flavor. I have not tried to do so yet.
