I like this fermenter but hate the rubber base. Has anyone built a different base? I've considered pvc but i can't have too much bulk because I want to fit it in my kegerator.
I'm using a Wyeast Munich lager yeast with an ideal temp of 48-54. I want to make a starter and wonder what the wort temp should be for the starter when i pitch the yeast.
