    Missed OG on my first all grain

    My first attempt and all grain and really missed the OG. Mine was 1.03 vs target 1.04. I knew I was going to be inefficient, but didn't realize I would be that far off. It's fermenting, so at least I will still have beer. Other than a lower ABV, are there any other characteristics to expect?

    Auto siphon and areation

    I just purchased a auto siphon and noticed it created a lot of bubbles in the line as I moved from primary to secondary. I then read last night to keep aeration as low a possible during racking. After I pulled the siphon I found a wood chip in the end that might have created this situation...

    First bottling attempt - 1/2 bottle left over

    I bottled about 6 oz in a 12 bottle. Worth keeping? I was going to use this a a tester bottle; will I learn anything from it? I only bottled 3.5 gallons from the initial 5 gal beginning (lost alot when moving to secondary) so wanted to save every drop when bottling.

    Full size or mini fridge for the garage

    Does anyone know what size refrigerator will hold 60 bottles of beer? I've been thinking about a mini (or compact) size 5-6 cubic feet. Should I skip this and go straight for a full size?

    Primary fermentation in my bottling bucket - now what?

    First timer here and followed the instructions that came with the kit and have a nice 3 day old batch in my plastic bottling bucket bubbling nicely. The directions call for moving to the glass carjoy at 1 week for secondary fermentation. Looking on here it appears the consensus is no need...
