    Vintage GE Kegerator

Standard Drill bits for the pilot holes. I went and bought a pack of two step bits for the larger holes. I believe they cost $12 at Harbor Freight. If I remember correctly there is an X brace in there that runs corner to corner. The only other thing to take into consideration is the...

    Vintage GE Kegerator

I took a regular bit drilled through both the inner and outer together. Then took a step bit and drilled them separately. I did take it apart first to ensure I wasn't going to hit one of the braces inside. Don't over engineer it.

    Vintage GE Kegerator

I looked at all the threads with custom paint and decided to keep it original and vintage. Picked up the fridge on CL for $125, the taps with pulls and stems on ebay for $20 and couldn't be happier with the end result.

Maiden Voyage of my 3 Tier Stand

No issues with condensation. Prior to this I didn't know how to weld either. Thru trial and error and several hours of grinding I ended up with something I can be proud of. Search for the ladder brew stand. Some guy built a nice rig out of an old wooden ladder. I'll get some better...

Maiden Voyage of my 3 Tier Stand

My original blueprint (the one in my head) had the valve about 6 inches above the base of the MT. Functionally that is a better position. I moved it down to allow the pipe to flush mount to the vertical tube.

Maiden Voyage of my 3 Tier Stand

The frame is 14ga 2" square steel tubing. It's all cut out of one 24' piece. I think it cost $25 and the local metal yard. I noticed you have the Solider's & Sailor's Monument for an avatar. I grew up in Indy.

Maiden Voyage of my 3 Tier Stand

This is my version of the simple 3 tier stand. 8 gallon HLT, 10 Gallon MT cooler, 11 gallon BK. Not having to lift 170 degree water over my head....priceless. Note: plastic tubing plugs will melt.

Yet another 3 tier rig--dialup warning large pix

I like everything about this, so much so I went out an bought a 24' length of 2" sq 14ga tube. One question how is the heat transfer between the HLT, BK and the MT? The reason I ask is I'm thinking about an inline (plastic) water filter on the back side of the vertical tube. Nice work!

5 Gallon Igloo Mash Tun with False Bottom

It's a Lowe's Igloo style with a Northern Brewer false bottom. I'm willing to trade for a nice keg that can be polished out. I'm not wild about shipping this thing, local DFW please. Bring trades for anything homebrew related.

    The MaxOut Brew Station

MaxOut your setup brought a tear to my eye. I've known for some time the stainless table was the way I was going. Your setup confirms that. Well done sir.

    Brew Kettle Hardware

I'm new fairly new to brewing but I've caught the bug. I've got several 5 gallon batches under my belt, a pale ale and a bitter aka the Duchess. Now I find myself looking to upgrade my brew pot. Ideally I'm looking at a ball valve with a silencer, thermometer, and site glass. I would like...
