    Wyeast smack pack question

    Beer ingredients delivered today, the wyeast package was puffed up and the activator pack seems to be already broken. Assume the yeast is still good to go? Or since im gonna do a starter would it even matter?

    can i add things to the primary?

    i hears someone talking about it being ok to dry hop in the primary. can you add other things? like if i was going to do a coffee stout, could i add the coffee to the primary or is that a no go?
