    Another Cheap pump alternative?

    HF has these, it says its heat resistant. Heavy Duty Drill Powered Pump So I picked one up and am flushed it with 180F water to get the lubricant out. Then took it apart to ensure all of it was indeed gone :) it was. Will see how it works for pumping hot wort through my chiller.

    What do you do with your 10 Gal batch?

    Just curious why a lot of folks do 10 gal batches. Is it to Keg 5 and bottle the other 5? Keg Both, Bottle Both? Split the Wort for different flavoring hops? I cant imagine bottling all 10 Gallons. I would rather wax my ass hair then sanitize the ammount of bottles it would take to bottle...

    Question about FG nad BJCP style

    I just brewed an IPA with an OG of 1.059 and a FG of 1.005. According to BJCP this is too low to be within style but everything else is, including ABV. Could it still be submitted into competition or would it be thrown out immediately? :mug:
