    Initial pH and starter tea

    Hello, just wondering how much starter tea people use for their batches and what their initial pH is? Troubleshooting a slow fermenter. Thanks!

    Measuring sugar consumption

    Has anyone had any luck with measuring the amount of sugar digested by the scoby during fermentation? I've tried hygrometer readings but that has proven to be inaccurate. Thanks!
