    Drat......

    2 gals of my cherry mead stopped fermenting too early. 1.040........I had used Lalvin D-47, and tried to jumpstart by adding some Lalvin EC-1118 and nutrient. Going is veeery slow..........Thinking about dumping both gals into a porter brew,and go for broke. :mad:

    Hello and Thanks for a great forum! As the user name implies, I'm a knifemaker of over 20 years. I'm retired, but formerly owned a scrap metal business that I sold 3 years ago after I got tired of getting shot at. (High crime area) I was smart enough to drag home (Much to my wife's chagrin)...
