    Stovetop pasteurising bottle pressure?

    I realize this is really old but I'm curious if you ever ran the tests with flat liquid as well. Curiosity has me on what the results would be.

    Think I made a mistake

    I'm by no means an expert but one of the first things I realized, after reading through posts books and anything I could find on home brewing, is that there is a general rule of thumb... "Don't worry about it" If its good in the end great if not adjust next time.

    yeah I picked up a one gallon amber ale kit from salt city brew supply. SWMBO agreed to "a small one to get started" should be around 5% abv
