    In 2015 I was quite new to AG brewing and didn't understand different AA values. The situation has improved somewhat since then. ;) I'll have to give the recipe a try sometime. Still haven't gotten around to it!

    Weevil \ Saw tooth grain beetle infestation. Anyone ever experienced this?

    "Should be good now" as in... you're going to mash some grain with a bunch of dead bugs in it? Nope. Noping right the hell out. Remind me never to drink a beer at your place. :eek:

    So who's brewing this weekend?

    I'm brewing an oatmeal stout this coming Sunday... actually, am brewing every Sunday until at least mid-October. I have to get my kegs filled before winter hits or I won't make it to Spring!

    Only true if you're serving beer at low temps. I have a stout and a bitter sitting at around 2.2 atmospheres at 12PSI, because I serve my Irish and English ales at 50F.

    Most annoying response when you tell someone you're a homebrewer?

    Because it fell into the mash and it was sticky. Star san was what I had on hand to rinse it out!
