I ended up going back and buying wheat malt. During brew day though I forgot to add the carafoam to the mash. Other than that I followed the original recipe with the addition of .5# rice hulls.

10# Wheat Malt
8# Vienna
1# Midnight Wheat
1# Carafoam
Unfortunately my dumb a$$ bought flaked wheat :o instead of wheat malt.
Would it be ok to just substitute the flaked wheat in place of the wheat malt?
So the cascade and centennial hops I've been growing became a tangled mess on the trellis.

So if I wanted to store for an extended period and I force carb would it be better to fully carb and let sit or just add a bit of pressure to set the lid and then carb when I'm ready to drink?
When I first planted my rhizome last year the sprouts did not look like this. Is this how they are supposed to look. They almost look like roots but I'm seeing some leaves coming off them.
Are you using a five gallon carboy for five gallon batches? If so buy a larger carboy and use the smaller carboy as a secondary or for lower gravity beers. Second option, use a blowoff tube
