Ok thanks. I actually used 0.5oz Instead of the 0.3oz that I listed for dry hops which gave me 6 oz in the dry hop. And I did use Maris. Drop any other grain. So they are listing 70IBU for the recipe but 30 of those come at 60 min which means 40 have to come in later additions. So lower 60...
Yes kegged about two weeks ago. Did a head to head comparison. It's different but very good. It's the right hops but likely hard to get the proportions right especially on the dry hop.

Looking back through this thread, one poster put this recipe in beersmith and the expected FG is 1.030. So it is what it is. I have friends that like this beer. Myself no I've made many porters and stouts. This is in the bottom of the list
Great recipe! All parameters came out on target. Kegged about a week ago did a head to head on a bottle of commercial Hoppyum Beers taste different but the homebrew is better!

Finally made this Friday dry hop tonight OG 1.059. Following 1st post recipe with S-05 Keg in 10 days. Let you know in 17 days, but I'm sure it's great. Thanks for posting. Jim

Unfortunately, I have no idea on the mash temp. The beer was good, I'm not sophisticated enough to know the difference in taste between a mash of 155 and 152. I was just following the recipe I was given. I have not though, made a beer with this high a mash temp.....but I'm generally making...
Brewing this again today almost 1 year from my original brew in feb 2013. I now am down to my last bottle Used the beer gun it get the last 12 out about 6 months ago Still a fabulous beer. Only thing change from original. Sparge 45 min or longer. Two packs S-05
