So I decided to do the horizontal like you said. Got the pots at lower ground since my front yard has a slight slope down. Then ran some line from the top of the hops to the top of my roof. I only got a one story house and its not that tall but I got another 15ft to train them horizontal...

Im out of space what do I do now. My vines are sticking up 8inches on top.

I had this issue last year on my cascade. My brother in law works for a landscaping place. He told me to go to the store and get a mint extract and put some in a spray bottle with water and spray them every 2 days. I didn't see any more leafs get eaten up. It also helps keep the aphids off...

Looking for a all-grain. I tend to drink a lot of american beers. Like really hoppy. Not supper over the top hoppy

Hey everyone. Never brewed an IPA before, but I have a lot of willamett and a lot of cascade hops. 1oz of northern brewer hops. Any good recomendations for using these? When I say a lot im saying a pound of each.

So even after cold crashing there is always going to be yeast in it right? How does that affect bottling?

Ok then bottled two bottles and sent them off in the mail. if there flat oh well. I bottled on yesterday and opened it today it was fine. I guess that's going to work for me. Thanks for the help everyone

I did what was on that post but since ive never done it I just wanted to see how long it would last. I guess ill have to bottle like five and open one every week as a small experiment. Thanks for the quick post norsk.

So I just had a quick question. If you put beer from a keg to a bottle. will it loose carbonation? I just need to know cause I was wanting to send some beers to family but the awesome beer I have right now is in a keg.. I would really like for them to taste it.:confused:

So I just used my keg for the first time and am now cleaning it out. Noticed my pressure relieve valve o ring is very cracked. Is it normal to have O ring on the PRV cracked after the first time? Also will I need to replace it everytime? That would be horrible.

Well these two are my last years plants. It was two or three weeks ago when they first started popping up now they are three feet tall if i hold them straight up. I need to build the trellis for these guys this weekend. Ill be planting two other kinds this year too.

These are my plants and I still need to put them in bigger pots and watch them grow.

I'm up in the NW Bremerton WA and mine are sprouting too. I'll post some pics later today.

You didnt say what your starting Mash temp was at. Did it drop that far down or did you not see what it was at?
