    STC-1000 Temperature Controller in Fahrenheit

This is the one everyone has been getting. I've had one on my fridge for about 4 months now without any problems.

STC 1000 "Ebay" Temperature Controller Build

I couldn't agree more. Do not use solid wire when connecting your temperature controller. The connectors cannot adequately clamp down on solid wire and you run the risk of the wire pulling out or much worse.

Here's where you can find your controller: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/ebay-aquarium-temp-controller-build-163849/index405.html#post6024764 As for being able to handle your freezer, the 10 amp relay's should be enough to power your standard home fridge or freezer. If you do run into...

    STC-1000 Temperature Controller in Fahrenheit

I'll admit it. That's a pretty good deal for those looking for an all on one system. If you're looking for just a dual stage controller in Fahrenheit, check out this post: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/ebay-aquarium-temp-controller-build-163849/index405.html#post6024764

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

@troy2000 It sounds like you're on the right track. To make your life simpler, try and disconnect the existing temperature controller completely. Pull both sides of the existing temperature controller and place your new controller in it's place as described. This way you don't have to run a...

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

From the looks of it, paulquinn want's to control heating as well. So that doesn't work for his needs. Besides, he already spent the time, money and cut a hole in his fridge for a replacement controller, an additional $20 is easier to stomach than replacing everything he's already purchased...

    Dream Car! PICTURES!!!

I'd love to see pics of that MGB! There are a few LSx Miiata's in CA, but you're more likely to see a 5.0 around these parts. Check out http://www.flyinmiata.com/ if you want to see some LSx builds.

    Dream Car! PICTURES!!!

Nice to see so many gear heads here! You guys have great automotive taste. Here's what I'd love to build. To bad California has some retarded emissions laws. Yep, cram an LS3 into an NB Miata! Talk about a sleeper.

    STC-1000 Housing/Self Contained

With a little bit of ingenuity, you can cram two outlets and a controller into a 4x4x2 box!

    temp controller for chest freezer

Set F03 to the minimum temperature you would use and F04 to the max. If memory serves me correct, I set min temp to 37 and max to 80. A bit on the far ends of what I would use, but it's there if I want it. As for the delay, I just leave it at 3.

    Still no STC-1000 fahrenheit model?

Make sure you ordered the proper STC-1000 as I believe there are different versions that may or may not work with the upgraded firmware. Wish I remembered where in the that thread they talk about the different board versions, but it's in there someplace.

To enter the settings dialog, press and hold the SET key for 3 seconds. Then press the up or down arrows to enter the various functions. Once you have selected the function, F00 for example, press SET again to adjust the settings for that function, cooling differential in this case. Adjust to...
