The OG was just a tiny bit off. Looked at the wort yesterday and it had foam and looked good but haven't seen any activity in the air lock and getting a little worried. Any advise would be great.

My cousin and I brewed American amber lager on Tuesday and finished with adding the yeast around 3:30. It was a yeast that had to be added to water first. It's been 48hrs and the air lock is not bubbling yet. What should we do and is our beer ruined?
