    Homebrewing Illegal in Utah!!!

 Last night on Channel 13 News (Salt Lake City) I saw a story about homebrewing. The City of South Salt Lake, Utah is pondering putting a law on their books making it illegal to homebrew! The news interviewed one of the employees at our local Homebrew Supply Store (The Beer Nut)...

Hidey ho, from behind the "Zion Curtain"...

 Utah is run and controlled by the Mormon Church and it's members... The alcohol laws are very repressive here etc. If you are not LDS, you are an outsider, and many times treated like scum... Things are changing as more and more people move here from out of State who are not Mormon's...

    What NOT to do...

I drank a bunch of Heiniken and saved up the bottles... I have used these to make several batches with no problems. I recently upgraded to a lever style capper, and love it! I is so much easier to use than the cheesy one that originally came with my homebrew kit... Soon though, I hope not to...

    Party Pig???

I am really sick of sanitizing bottles! I am thinking of purchasing a couple of Party Pigs. Has anyone ever used or tried these? I brew five gallons at a time, so two of them would be just about right... My eventual goal if to get a Korny Keg system, but for right now I can't afford to do so...
