    Hard Lemonade

I have tried the just add yeast to lemonade approach. I was extremely disappointed. I used organic lemonade out of the health food section, pretty good tasting stuff. Added corn sugar, fermented. Tried 3 separate batches. Straight lemonade, lemonade grapefruit, lemonade tangerine juice. All...

    Back sweetening with sorbated juice.

Sorbate actually coats the yeast preventing it from eating and reproducing. And there is rarely enough to stop an active yeast culture. I had some luck using maraschino cherry juice to back sweeten and imbue some new flavors. The unfortunate side effect was that it killed the yeast. This is the...

The Beechwood sounds pretty interesting. I've never tried it. Good call.

    New Blood

I took a blue ribbon at the county fair with my dandelion wine. And my old supply Sgt's dandelion wine is actually what got me interested. Dandelion Grief (1gal) 8 cups yellow petals w/o greens (picked the same day.) 2lbs sugar 1tsp acid blend 1tbsp nutrient Top up with cool water.

    New Blood

This is my first post, but make no mistake, I've made a lot of booze. But, I'm looking for something new. I mostly make wine and cider, on occasion i make beer. I like to experiment, different fruits, some vegetables, candy. Give me some ideas on what to try next.
