    So the vodka sterilizes the jalapenos? It seems to be removing their heat, which seems strange if the vodka isn't added to the fermenter.

    My LHBS had pale/pilsner LME instead of amber. I grabbed 0.2 lb of black patent to make up for the difference. Is this a good idea or would it throw off the flavor? Thanks.

    Hey everyone- first post! I'll be giving the graff a try next week. I skipped the hops and wheat, plus I'll be using 80L crystal and 2.5 lbs pilsner LME.
