Has anyone tried this with Simcoe hops? I want to compare Amarillo to another hop? I am trying to do this same recipe exactly with another style of hops....any suggestions?
I brewed a pumpkin porter and the recipe had maltodextrin in it. I missed the step and added it at the end of the boil for about 10 minutes....will my porter be messed up or bad now?

Im brewing a german lager but using the wyeast german ale yeast since I can't get it to a lower temp. I am going to primary ferment at 58° and secondary the same. Totaling about 14 days. After should I bottle and condition in the frig? I know this yeast can handle the lower temp. Or should I...
