There is the the Irish version of Patrick (Padraic or Pádraig) ;)
There is no i in James but yet people shorten James to Jim!
Anyway dont want to get compeltely off-topic
Sorry nothing really to add except for correct you on St Pattys day, there is no such thing. It is St Patricks Day or if you really have to shorten it, its St Paddys day.
Sorry but it really boils my p**s when I see that!
Only because you are a scouser I will let you away with it ;) I am a Liverpool supporter myself, always loved heading to Liverpool for the games. I am from Dublin, living in Ottawa 4 years now and it is one of the few things I am missing is a decent pint of the black stuff!
Enjoy the bar it...
That's the thing everything I find is a female fitting not a male. The only female ones I find are in Australia and for the cost I may aswell just buy a new bench capper. Which I am starting to wish I did in the first place. That or go plastic!
Hi,
Can anyone point me in the direction of one of these in a 26mm size, I bought a second hand capper and I am thinking the bell needs replacing. New to all this and didnt realise how difficult it would be to get a new one...
GAH hit my first stumbling block...bottles! I had a stash of twist tops and with everything I read I belived a bench capper would work on twist tops. So picked up one second hand, it works great on the few pry tops I have but not so good on the twist tops.
So off I got in search of bottles!
Hi Jess,
Thanks, I know a few Irish guys up in Quebec City and have been invited up a few times but not a chance to visit since moving to Canda.
Thanks for the advice, Craigs was one of the first videos I watched on the subject.
Cheers or as we say in Ireland sláinte.
Hi all,
So another newbie joining. I hope to start the process soon, most likely with a coopers diy microbrew kit to help get me off the ground. The best thing is I ahve the wife on board so as long as the beer is tasting good sneaking in some extra expenses here and there should be easy...
