I'm almost there with pigs and chickens.
Pigs for empathetic reasons, and chickens because they're pretty gross.
Only way i do chickens anymore is deep fried crispy and slathered in hot sauce.
Beef just tastes too good...although i understand that it is the most ecologically damaging meat...
Appreciate all the feedback.
I consider my motivations for selling-off and quitting off-topic.
I'll probably package the keezer with taps and CO2 system together, and sell kegs, fermenters, kettles, and other gear a-la-carte. Possibly offer a steep discount for someone to take everything at...
Thanks for your response - i probably will part things out. Its just that my keezer is set up for 6 taps, if i sell each tap separately, there might be some loss of value there.
So, do you recommend craigslist/ebay over HBT? or just list on as many places as possible?
Dear Brewers,
After realizing my relationship with beer is a little too one-sided, I've decided to hang up my mash-paddle and cash-out my hobby.
What's the best way to list my stuff? Here and craigslist?
Also should i try to bundle as much as possible, or piecemeal everything? As an example...
This thread took a detour...
I wonder when the first codification of beer styles occurred?
I don’t think any of the texts I linked talked about beer as being a distinct style, although they do recognize different types.
This is tangentially related to the Amber conversation, and NEIPAs...

Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season.
I thought i'd share these gifts that i found on the information super highway recently.
These texts show how information was disseminated in the past. How passionate brewers and beer lovers communicated in the days before the world wide web.

So I’ll drop the reasoning for the spice selection and formulation here:
This is intended to be the beer version of a popular cola beverage. If you google “coca cola clone” you’ll find many of the same ingredients.
Thanks for the response.
Might go a full bean then.
My most recent beer used an oz of licorice root, coriander, and bitter orange peel at the end of the boil of a 90% Munich/10% Caramunich malt Bill.
I then zested the keg with 4tsp of Halo Mandarin.
It is pretty tasty
By the lack of responses I am guessing this is either so far out there that people have no opinion on the amount zest, lactose, etc.
Or
The opinion is this is fine, and nothing of value can be added to improve a one-post thread
