Usually it's my 3 year old son sniffing the kettle and playing with the hose. My brother who loves to drink while brewing and my chocolate lab choceaux who pretty much just hangs around. The wife she could care less but she dosn't complain when it's ready drink. I love brew days.:D

I just made a starter for my brewday tomorrow and stupid me instead of putting intermittent shaking I kept it on simple starter on mr. Malty which almost doubled the amount of starter. My first question is should I shake it or just leave it alone since I went with simple starter amount? Second...

Yay.....Ordered yeast from AHS with the ice pack took three days to get to my house and the ice pck was melted and the bag was warm. The day before brew day I made a starter and everything was all good. If I would've got the ice pak I shutter to think of what would have happened to my little...

I am using a swamp cooler for the first time due to the heat here in Louisiana and I have a question. Do you put the fermentation bucket in the cooler right after you transfer from BK and pitching the yeast? Thanks in advance. :mug:
