    What are you drinking now?

Belgian wit after a week of carbonation. I wonder if wlp400 woke up while carbonating and took it down a few degrees in addition to the priming sugar. Took some time to pour it, but it has a long lasting head, and I like the aromas and flavour.

What are you brewing today/weekend, post pics...

Brewing my first lager! A munich helles using WLP860. Did also a light decoction for some maillard reactions, hope that shines through in the final beer. Cheers!

John Palmer VS BeerSmith2 a noobie question

I've used Beersmith for my first 28 batches, but on my last batch I brewed yesterday I formulated the entire recipe by hand (there is an awesome blog post on the subject, I don't have the link atm). This was the first time I've ever hit OG planned by the recipe, so I'm seriously considering...

What came in the mail for you today?

Yesterday my Igloo mash tun kit arrived. Pretty expensive to ship all the way to Norway, but I'm not complaining. Now I'm just looking forward to next brew day!

What did you find under your tree?

Got two brewing books, and a book I'm returning for a wine tasting book! Yeah, and another year of homebrewing license from my GF! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Home Brew mobile app

    First Brew

It'll be much better when carbonated and served at the correct temperature. Good luck brewing and poking around :)

    Imperial Fuggle IPA

Looks nice! Want to do brew an IPA with Fuggle and other English varieties sometimes soon. Given the fact that I want to brew all kinds of beer, at all times, preferably at the same time, that coincidence is not very impressive.

10 litre boil in a bag all grain brewing

Ï had EXACTLY the same thoughts as you, small batches, experiment often, and it worked just fine. Had a 18 liter pot and brewed 10-12 liter batches, but I just had to go bigger, so now I brew 18-19 liter batches, but have to brew just as often as before!

What I did for beer today

Preparing a talk I'm having today. Here in Bergen, Norway we have a student organization, which I have been a part of the last 6 years, which run this concert place, and I'm going to talk about tasting beer to all of the volunteer bartenders. It's common knowledge that volunteers are fantastic...

What I did for beer today

Today I washed some bottles, ready for bottling an American Blonde and a Belgian Blonde on Thursday to be ready for my girlfriends family annual summer party. Haven't met most of them before, so I hope my beer will impress them.

What I did for beer today

Spontaneously made mead for the first time. Just water, honey, yeast(soon), nutrition(soon) in fermenter, and I'll probably add some fruit in secondary.

What I did for beer today

Today I did a lot of forum browsing (if that even counts), and went dumpster diving for a better mount for my STC-1000.

About to set a new personal record, five batches fermenting at the same time! Christmas ale, IPA, Robust Porter, American Blonde, Belgian Blond!

How much is invested/How much per month?

But yeah, a great tip is to be open to your SWMBO, I do and the worst reaction I get is "You've spent THAT much!? Oh well.." and there's nothing more to that.
